It's funny I rather enjoy hearing city sounds from my apartment. Horns honking, trolly bells, even construction (to an extent...). But if I'm out on the street it's super annoying. Horn honks while in my apartment: oh my, hear the sounds of life out there! Horn honks while I'm on the street: did ta really have to honk at that person? Asshole.
