I've owned a car for a decade now. Within the past year I finally moved somewhere with access to transit. It's been the greatest thing ever. The transit here isn't even that good, but it is entirely liberating compared to driving. I can get basically anywhere I need and I don't have to pay attention to the road at risk of my life. My vehicle is just an expensive toy to me at this point and I'd rather it not exist. I don't want it. At all.
