- eigenvalue 4y agoThose divinity students at a good school in the 1800s were incredibly smart and erudite. Even if you think theology is wrong or silly, it doesn’t mean the people were silly.
- cabalamat 4y agoWhether it is wrong and silly is irrelevant; my claim is that it is "ideological and unrigorous". I'm sure lots of them were smart and erudite.
