We are trying to get as many companies as possible to sign this open letter endorsing the UN's efforts to regulate and/or ban killer robots (formally called LAWS, for Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems). - schoen 4y agoThat acronym seems likely to cause some confusion, like "we need laws against LAWS".
- upwardbound 4y agoAgreed, it's kind of confusing.. Maybe they'll pick a different term in the future but for now this seems to be the one they landed on.
- Syntonicles 4y agoIf you're serious about this you can take the time to create a formal process. People don't even post their email addresses on their profiles without obfuscation, this just looks like lazy phishing attempt.
