Oh wow that sounds absurd. I have a friend with extremely strong BO, and I need to be right next to him to notice even if he's not showered in a week. The notion of smelling people across rooms... it's as freaky to me as if you'd told me some people have x-ray vision. I wonder if your particular case of nasal cavity just happens to have topology that delivers air to the olfactory portion of it very effectively.
