I'm becoming more and more convinced that easy access to loans (Buy now, pay later) is too dangerous for the social part of society, assuming we also want to protect those who abuse them from their own actions. They seem to only marginally help those who already have money, but frequently negatively impact those who either don't have money or just make very bad financial decisions.
