I’ve been sympathetic to this in the past, but I didn’t realize just how stupid some parents are.
- pfortuny 4y agoThat is not right at all. Parental rights are above other people’s but not the children’s. In fact, they are subordinate to the children’s right to education. This is nuanced but for instance, a parent not educating his child is not above anything.

- r00fus 4y agoIt’s also myopic. Florida legislature proposed a law allowing state to take kids kids from parents.
