30 and thinking of having kids. I did very well for myself, as did my wife. We are both doing better than our parents at our age. But we also recognize we basically won the career lottery (tech, biotech). I highly doubt my kids will be better off financially. But finances are just one aspect of life and I hope I can set them up to be happy, healthy, and enriched.
