This is something that can be done tastefully. But that takes skill. A boring interface is far better than a poorly done “juiced” one.
I think my favorite bit of juice is iOS’s rotation animations. Particularly when they have a bit of extra fun with it like you see in the calculator.
- kevincox 4y agoI think it depends a lot on the context. For example with the button cover and click animations are probably a good idea in most contexts. However the sounds would probably be unwelcome on a site that otherwise didn't make sound. However a sound may be a great addition in a video game that already has lots of sound.
