What is the job of US soldiers in Syria? Finding reasons for war? https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/3/24/us-says-air-strikes-hit-syria-targets-after-deadly-drone-attack https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/3/24/us-says-air-strikes...

    > What is the job of US soldiers in Syria? Supporting ISIS and the kurds in destabilizing the country. Siria has oil and Assad is not an US friend so they must bring "democracy" to him.

To agitate Russia and Iran. Nothing more. There's zero national interest in that country for the United States. You can make an argument that agitating the Russians and the Iranians is a good idea, as a geopolitical strategy, if you want.

      > zero national interest After 11 years of involvment in the war, i wouldn't call their interest 0.

Can you succinctly describe what that interest is?

So does this count as an illegal invasion of a sovereign country in the eyes of the United Nations? It's really hard to tell anymore what is and isn't against "the rules".
