Does anybody else use the "Minimize memory usage" function in "about:memory" in Firefox? I'm on a 4 GB system, so RAM fills up quickly. Since I'm also still using a HDD, it's pretty important for me to prevent RAM from filling, since swapping makes the whole desktop environment lag. When I see the RAM indicator column get close to 75 % I'm warned and do things like close applications I currently don't need or press the above mentioned button, since Firefox is open pretty much the whole time.
