A privacy friendly file sharing service without registration

• politelemon 4y ago
The problem, historically, with many free/no-registration file sharing services, is that they eventually start being used by 'bad actors' (which differs by country). The people chasing those bad actors find it easier to target such services and will force a change. Your service will need something to help itself when that situation arises.

Hi, it doesn't provide permanent storage and it uses high security measures by Cloudflare. So I hope it's not really usable for bad actors.

I love using Wormhole (https://wormhole.app/ https://wormhole.app/) for this purpose. The UI and the downloads are extremely snappy, and for large files it uses peer-to-peer technology to speed up downloads. Download links can also expire, which is a nice bonus. (N.b. Not associated with Wormhole or the developers; I'm just a satisfied user.)
