You seem gt have a good sense of what's innocuous volumes and not going overboard. Does your neighbor share that sense ? (is it "common" ?). Do the people 20 blocks down your house share that sense ? I'd argue for better or worse, very few things still stay "common" at a large enough scale without repeating the message often enough.
