It's especially sad because community libraries are one of the few public spaces left in America. Sure, you can hang out at a coffee shop or a bar, but those spaces require you to buy a product just to exist in them. Just another example of capitalism destroying resources that make us a civilization (instead of just a bundle of subscriptions).
