Yeah, the only other thing I might be able to think of is that they decided Discord allows them to get all the feedback they need for reinforcement learning?
ie. You're essentially forcing/suggesting users to respond with emojis and interactions to get the feedback you need. Hard to say if this is actually the case however...
- jameswan 4y agoThe feedback is all the usage data. Isn't that natively available to the admin of the Discord channel, and every HTTP request they make. That's how they are able to move from v1 to v5 using RLHF
