- lsaferite 4y agoA friend of mine bought a device that does this a while back and swears by it's effects. He lent it to another mutual friend who also had similar opinions. I have no personal knowledge of the efficacy, but if anyone is interested, this is the device he purchased: https://www.gammalightandsound.com/ https://www.gammalightandsound.com/ I have no affiliation with that site, just sharing knowledge.
- numtel 4y agoThere was an article (I think I found it in hackernews) a while back about a study that showed 40hz having these restorative abilities. I installed a frequency generator app on my phone after reading it. I also made a binaural tone generator tool: https://numtel.github.io/binaural-playground/ https://numtel.github.io/binaural-playground/ From what I read, low frequency waves can influence awareness at different level: 1-4 Hz: Delta (Deep sleep) 4-8 Hz: Theta (Meditation/REM) 8-14 Hz: Alpha (Relaxation) 14-30 Hz: Beta (Focus/Energy) 30-100 Hz: Gamma (Maximum Awareness)
