This brings an interesting question - will the various chatbot products bias towards the owning companies lobbying efforts (parroting their lobbying points)?
- dragonwriter 4y agoNot too obviously until they have the penetration that they feel that they can get away with exerting power that way without it being curtailed.
- CommanderData 4y agoIf there's enough SEO garbage commissioned by lobbyist, Yes.
- wobbly_bush 4y agoThat assumes the chatbot creators don't introduce explicit bias of their own. What if they start doing that? For example a search for nutritional information about some foods might be influenced by fast-food companies buying "ads" to insert their own messaging.
