- heavyset_go 4y agoMany of the same people and groups behind anti-LGBT movements and legislation in the US are the same that fund and are associated with the groups in Uganda that are responsible for the law in the OP: https://foreignpolicy.com/2023/03/19/africa-uganda-evangelicals-homophobia-antigay-bill/ https://foreignpolicy.com/2023/03/19/africa-uganda-evangelic...
- oriettaxx 4y agothe article is very interesting: thanks!
- clort 4y agoI always think, in their minds they are outraged about the implication of m->f transgender using the f changing room, but now as a direct consequence of their law they are going to get f->m transgender using the f changing room. Or perhaps that is secretly the point
- drekipus 4y agoIs there cases of f->m transgender using their superior size to rape people? I genuinely don't know. But I don't think f->m are the problem. They still have a feminine body and it's still a fair fight in body size comparison. It's the same as the sports argument. The bigger problem is the larger, masculine bodies now dominating women's sports. I don't think many worry about the smaller bodies in sports where everyone is the same size or bigger than them.
- krapp 4y agoIt gets a lot worse than that, especially in Texas.
