The impossible job: inside the world of Premier League referees
- jjtheblunt 4y agoamerican question: i tried watching Premier League a month or so ago, and, within minutes, some player took a clearly forced fake dive, then rolled around in fake agony, which the broadcast all replayed in slow motion, showing it was fake, commenting on such. And I turned if off, puzzled. I then thought, why is this so popular of a game? Culturally, I'm American and European, but not as far as football/soccer goes.
