I happen to have a keen interest in how different people experience ideas like conspiracy theories and the unknown in general, so I am always on the lookout for it in discussions online or in meetups - it is uncanny how often the Earth being around is offered up when someone is challenged about the unknown, including people who have substantial backgrounds in science or philosophy.
