How? ChatGPT did not send the PR and cannot ingest a whole repo. I assume the author picked and fed it the 4 affected files, making it less “ChatGPT submitted a PR” and more “I used ChatGPT to write this code and text” which is pretty ordinary right now.

- warent 4y agoDoesn't "ordinary" seem a bit of an exaggeration considering such things weren't even possible up until recently? It might be clickbait, but good grief, how can we already be this disenchanted with what is a miraculous technology.
- xiphias2 4y agoJust because it wasn't possible recently, it's normal now for everybody. I prefer Copilot, and wouldn't ever want to go back. World is changing super fast.
- HeavyFeather 4y agoI know it sounds funny, but GPT-4 could already probably swallow the whole repo and propose a whole patch and gh-cli command to actually do the thing nearly by itself. I’m just here waiting for a “Fix issue” button on GitHub tickets, then I’ll be impressed again, for a week.
