He was talking about the style of writing. It's funny, this particular online culture/group/vibe the author is a part of is one I very rarely encounter but do occasionally stumble upon. It blows my mind to think that for some people, this 'vibe' may be the majority or at least a large part of the online content they consume / online spaces they inhabit. It makes me wonder how many more foreign to me online cultures there are. Bronies, sports lovers, 4chan-ers etc
