Being a debate lord is frowned upon in this community. I was positing why you believe people don’t have the agency to choose who they support. You’re asking me to prove something irrelevant to the problem at hand — that somehow every American and every Chinese already have picked sides. Of course I haven’t and I’m American. My friends haven’t. They’re American. My Chinese friends haven’t. They’re Chinese. If you had said most people are victims of the system. Falling for propaganda and manufactured consent thus no true agency in choosing sides, that would be one thing.
