I was literally just trying to refresh my memory on some linear algebra yesterday and I kept getting stuck in infinite loops of "Oops, looks like we did something wrong, please check the work and try again." I know it's a trope to insert, "but I did x thing and it failed miserably," but I do think people actually using it on a daily basis have a much more realistic view of its capabilities.
