- ren_engineer 4y agoIn context of OpenAI admitting they weren't releasing much info about GPT4 due to "competitive reasons" I thought this was more relevant, most of their safety suggestions basically kneecap any non-established competition by restricting access to hardware and training data. OpenAI/Microsoft are seemingly going to try to regulate themselves a monopoly in the name of safety the biometrics data requirement for platforms is also relevant considering Sam Altman was scanning people's retinas in exchange for Worldcoin. Seems like a privacy nightmare
