The definition of a self-serving “study.” Also a good example of corporate hubris.
Close to 100% of people in the developed world were “impacted” and “affected” by everything from television to cell phones. We didn’t all lose our jobs. Get a grip.
- retube 4y agoyeah man. for sure AI is gonna change roles and make some jobs redundant. But it will create replacement jobs, like literally every other technical advance in history.

- dmix 4y agoThe study didn't say they will all simply lose their job? Did you just read the headline and assume "80% of jobs will be impacted by GPT" means they lose their jobs? Impacted doesn't mean completely automate either, it can just be assisting, improving efficiency, better quality, etc. Of the 80% impacted they said GPT can help with only 10% of their work activities on average.
