- tsimionescu 4y agoThe point is that you don't have a right to distribute the software unless you give out source code. However, that doesn't mean that a court can you force you to give out the source code - they are far more likely to force you to stop distribution altogether, and pay damages for whatever occurred. Whether any company in it's right mind would find it preferable to settle the case by abiding by the terms of the license or not is debatable of course.
