I think OP also was concerned that our tech jobs get automated away. If that turns out true, a career change and finding a new job will take much longer than six months.
- sneak 4y agoCommon sense isn't. This is an unreasonable fear. If your job can be automated, you should be out of work. If you are delivering actual value, you will always have opportunities. Someone is still going to be doing the automating. Computers can't think.
