Days since last JavaScript framework
- andrewfromx 4y agowhat are you saying? You don't need an entire new js framework just to call document.getElementById?
- hackitup7 4y agoNo, I actually need a new framework to wrap React so that React can call document.getElementByID. I've never gotten any element by ID personally in my life, that's the stick shift of JavaScript.
- andrewfromx 4y ago"the stick shift of JavaScript" what a great way to put it. More fun to drive.

- potatoman2 4y agoThis is just a static site with a big zero isn't it?
- CharlesW 4y agoYes, virtually empty and yet still takes 0.4s to get to First Contentful Paint. Maybe the author should look into a more performant framework.
- Atlas22 4y agoMaybe (s)he should make a new one to combat this issue. In all seriousness though the amount of nextjs dependencies on this practically static site is probably part of the joke.
- tfsh 4y agoThat's the joke, no computation needs to happen because for as long as there exists JavaScript, there will to be an incessant stream of gratuitous JavaScript frameworks.
- pointlessone 4y agoI feel like it would be 10x funnier if it actually linked to a 1-day-old framework each day.
