Alan Kay, Ivan Sutherland, Ed Catmull, and others to speak in Utah this week
- DonHopkins 4y agoWow what a great line-up!
- kickingvegas 4y agoSeriously, this is a once in a lifetime event.
- retrocryptid 4y agoAgreed. Which is why I booked a flight to Salt Lake when I learned about it. Several years ago I passed on seeing Neil Armstrong speak at NASA/Ames. A few months later he died and I never got to see him in person. I learned my lesson and seldom pass up an opportunity to listen to smart people riff on topics which interest them.
- luismedel 4y agoNot only them. The full list of speakers is awesome.
- junon 4y ago> Events on both days will also be livestreamed on the University of Utah’s YouTube channel at youtube.com/@universityofutah/streams. Mhmm added to calendar. What a solid lineup, good lord. EDIT: you only need to RSVP if you're attending in person. First day is 10-5, second day is 10-12.
