From when has HN became a paywall article aggregator?
- dang 4y agoIf there's a workaround, it's ok. Users usually post workarounds in the thread. If there's not a workaround, it's not ok. This has been the case since 2015: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=10178989 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=10178989 and is in the FAQ: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsfaq.html https://news.ycombinator.com/newsfaq.html. As the current submission appears not to have a workaround, I've downweighted it.
