They are now at a plateau where they are pinching pennies trying to keep costs as low as possible because revenue isn’t growing like it used to and they no longer have a need to rapidly add compute resources. Growing companies that go off cloud prematurely will quickly relearn the forgotten lessons of why the cloud was built in the first place.
