OK. Depends on the task; lots of (academic) research has shown this. Emergence and maintenance of trust with a "chatbot/ai assistant" is unique to particular task topics. Emotion and Logic are complementary parameters.
This is also why consumers preferred "feminine-sounding" voices + logical responses. The voice indexes the emotion parameter subconsciously, and it's reassuring.
I could go on, but there's lots and lots of research to unpack this beyond the reductionist title. HCI is fun, IMO.
