Personally, I just do an open-hand salute. It started as something I did on Zoom calls and then expanded to real life. I've never been comfortable with handshakes, even before the pandemic. And not even for disease reasons, the physical act of it just made me feel awkward and uncomfortable. So I'm happy to just salute now.
