The lockdowns enforced by those other countries/cities mentioned where way tame compared to what happened in China. So no it wasn't comparable. You wouldn't be at an amusement park and all of a sudden be forced to stay for hours so that everyone could be tested before you could leave. That definitely didn't happen... except in China. Neither would be left to rot to death without food and yet still not be able to go to a local supermarket because of "lockdown". Not the same.
