    That's a little intellectually lazy don't you think? The fbi comes to a university to do a threat briefing and the professors say "Only come here with a warrant to arrest someone." If they only come with warrants to arrest alleged criminals then it's "These jackbooted thugs are too heavy-handed; oh why couldn't they have reached out beforehand like civilized people?" If you are finding fault with everything the person across the table does; without the ability to compromise then you aren't participating in good faith. The reality is that the faculty and admin don't want to tackle a hard problem despite them being best positioned to handle it.
