We could use less meat but I don't think you should take a "moral" argument to this. There are plenty of cultures around the world for which cuisine plays a big role including being carnivore-based. There are festivals, arts, traditions, culinary heritage, etc. I believe as said we could eat less meat, but I think taking an argument from a "moral supremacist" sort of stand-point isn't the right solution to get people over to that side.

You're totally right obviously that there are but also I think we're at a point in the history of humanity where we're informed enough to take the impact of our actions into consideration regardless of how long we've performed those actions.
