Flare’s (https://blog.datalust.co/a-tour-of-seqs-storage-engine/ https://blog.datalust.co/a-tour-of-seqs-storage-engine/) command line tool can query CLEF formatted (new-line delimited) JSON files and is perhaps an order of magnitude faster. Good for searching and aggregating. Probably not great for transformation.
