Let’s just hurry up with creating artificial wombs then all the women can get their tubes tied and still have a baby if and when they want to.
Oh wait… I imagine they’ll make that illegal too and Tubal Ligation and, hell, Condoms too.

- jfengel 4y agoTubal ligation is already inaccessible to the women who would want it for lifetime contraception. It's practically impossible to get a doctor to perform it until one is over 30 or has at least two children. The doctors are afraid of being sued if you should change your mind. And as for condoms, yeah, they're working on that, too. Justice Thomas has already suggested overturning the Supreme Court ruling that made condoms legal. And when a bill was proposed to ensure that the right would exist even if the Supreme Court overturned itself, practically all Republicans voted against it in the House, and it died in the Senate. So that's not hypberbole. Those are real things.
