A seaweed blob twice the width of the US is heading toward Florida
- simonblack 4y agoWhy did I hear the 'Jaws' theme in my mind as I read the title? :) Algae and seaweed blooms are becoming more common as the oceans heat up. Also, I saw very recently some articles that mentioned the Sargassum seaweed hitting the shore in some places.
