I deleted my Facebook a long time ago and never looked back. I don't give a shit about Instagram. I wish I didn't use Reddit, but am finding it increasingly cynical and tiresome.
Sorry to break it to you dude but HN is social media...
- djaychela 4y agoNot in the same way that most are. It doesn't (AFAIK) present different users with different information. All of us see the same front page, and so on.

- electrondood 4y agoHN doesn't depend on clickbait and attention harvesting, and the community does a pretty good job of self-policing toxicity, and not posting sensationalist and empty limbic tickling.
