Will shipping return to its ancient roots?
- zeristor 4y agoSails? Modern approach? I thought the modern approach would be to use Flettner rotors? Then there’s the cost maturation bit. Is having the added cost and complexity worth it? Are they reliable enough? For something like a container ship large structures would get in the way. I’m all for it, but engineering for the sea isn’t trivial.
