Ask HN: Does anyone here have an Amiga 1000 they are willing to sell?
I have never owned an Amiga.
Would like to buy one.

- snvzz 4y agoWhy the 1000? If you've never owned an Amiga, you should be looking at Amiga 500 (most sold, most modern expansions, highest direct software compatibility). Otherwise, get a miSTer and use minimig-miSTer core. 1000 being the first Amiga, there are a lot of limitations and annoyances relative to newer models. The 512KB maximum CHIP RAM is particularly crippling.
