What happened in late 2019 to drive up Macs? Covid?

  Apple Silicon. EDIT: As pointed out by several child comments I’m off by a year, so I have no idea what is special about 2019 for Macs.

    That was a full year later in late 2020.

    Apple Silicon wasn’t even announced until mid-2020. And that bump starts pre-COVID.

    That's what I thought too, but seems like that happened over a year later. The data seems very questionable in general, so who knows.
