I use 1% of what I learned at the University at work. 0.01% of I add my PhD (both in physics, I work in IT). But I have an idea how the world works, can understand my electricity bill and realize how biased are any numbers presented to the public. I can buy a coffee in Spain and Germany without using English. I lerned to love French Middle Ages. This article is simply sad.
