- dccoolgai 4y agoWith a bill in both the House and Senate, and the vocal support (and implicit support, given these "leaks") of the administration, I get the feeling that the average techie doesn't quite get how close we are to a TikTok ban... I would be shocked if TikTok exists in its current form 8 weeks from now.
- AtomicOrbital 4y agoI am no fan of CCP yet would like to learn whether USA high tech media has a similar tarnished view from perspective of say the average European or Asian in it's inevitable pure capital extraction muscle maneuvers in those regions
- vaxman 4y agoI hope those fired employees get to keep both kidneys. ByteDance just announced they are going all coreboot/linuxboot on their hyper scaler. That can’t be to keep the CCP out haha Time to sink all or their Navy ships at the same time —before Xi and Putin announce an alliance.
