  lack of insurance is stopping people from taking a walk around the block. It has to be a extreme sport.

    I don’t see why not. People who do vigorous sport can turn into complete couch potatoes once they are too old to practice that sport. Difficult concept for you to get, perhaps? Hint: being “healthy” wasn’t the point; it was the excitement, the adrenaline… etc.

    Our built environment makes it difficult to walk anywhere. We should work on that.
