“Up until a few years ago, I was still reaching out to WinForms / C# to build quick prototypes”
What replaced them for you? I still use Windows forms a lot for prototypes and utilities and was curious if there is something else I should be looking at.
- gigel82 4y agoI no longer need to write LOB / GUI apps, and I switched to node.js scripts for utilities.
- HideousKojima 4y agoI've been using the Godot game engine and C# to make various utilities. Not quite as dummy simple as WinForms but it's super easy and fun to use.
- Kwpolska 4y agoI find WinForms weird and difficult to make consistent-looking UIs in. But WPF is quite nice.
