- tombert 4y agoI don't disagree, but there's a lot of collective brainwashing that goes on in tech, and people young in their careers cannot be fully blamed for buying into it. Nearly every tech job I've had has constantly reinforced that what we're doing is fundamentally saving the world; either by being more progressive than <industry X>, or by working on a solution to something that coincidentally also happens to be the cause of all of life's problems.
