The scary thing about AI is the human reaction.
Many of us have irrational biases, I won't be surprised to see the emergence of new cults around AI, some seeing it as a potential savior of humanity, others as a pure evil antichrist.
And for not-so-religiously inclined minds, our beliefs and fears have been distorted by fiction for decades.
- klyrs 4y agoPersonally, I see it as the next level of enshittification. Have problems reaching a human at XYZCorp today? Call centers will be the first to be replaced. Think homelessness is bad today? Low-paid service jobs are next.
